An eight-building housing complex is set to be developed in Franklin to support adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
The campus, with an anticipated completion by fall 2021, will be built at 724 Washington St. according to a release by Worcester’s Lauring Construction that will complete the project for Attleboro nonprofit Amego, Inc.

The eight-building campus will include six 3,200-square-foot, seven-bedroom houses to support 42 adults, a 2,500-square-foot community center, and an 850-square-foot maintenance building. Campus amenities will include a basketball court, playground, and walking path. Site improvements will include creating a road off Washington Street.

“Our devoted team of professionals works hard every day to provide a safe, positive, and enjoyable learning environment for our clients,” said Amego CEO John Randall. “This new residential campus will allow us to expand our services and support to more individuals and families.”

Amego was founded in 1971  by the Sangree Stokes family and supports individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities throughout their lives.
